Recipes for the fall season

It's soup, stew, and roasted vegetable season! Early in fall, look for recipes that mix the last of summer's produce with the first fall fruits & vegetables. Top sweet potatoes with blackberries (trust me!) in September, or add corn to a southwest-flavored butternut squash soup.

October is perfect for the classic soups, stews, and apple cider braised pork or chicken.

November starts to see some winter fruits like pomegranate and citrus, which are great additions to salads and perfect in muffins.
